Short version: the templates are free for personal and commercial use; the tools are provided as-is; nothing here is legal, tax or accounting advice; you are responsible for the quotes you send.
1. Who we are and acceptance
quotapp.com ("the site") is operated by QuotApp ("we"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Template license
You may download, edit and use our templates (Word, Excel, Google Docs, PDF and other formats) for your own personal and commercial purposes, including in documents you send to your clients, without attribution. You may not redistribute or sell the templates themselves, or offer them for download on another site, whether modified or not.
3. Tools
The quote generator, estimate generator and calculators are provided free of charge, run in your browser and store nothing on our servers. We may change, suspend or discontinue them at any time. You are responsible for saving your own copies (for example by downloading the PDF).
4. No professional advice
Guides, price ranges, examples and calculator outputs are general information for business users. They are not legal, tax, accounting or trade-specific advice, and national price ranges do not reflect your costs or market. You are solely responsible for the prices, terms and legal wording in any quote, estimate, proposal or invoice you send, and for compliance with the laws that apply to your business and jurisdiction.
5. Accuracy and third-party information
We try to keep price ranges and software comparisons accurate and we date them, but they change and we do not guarantee them. Third-party names and pricing are as published by those companies on the dates shown; trademarks belong to their owners. Links to other sites are provided for convenience.
6. Intellectual property
Site content (text, images, code, templates) is owned by QuotApp or its licensors. Apart from the template license above, you may not copy, reproduce or republish site content without permission.
7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The site, templates and tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuotApp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits or business, arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
